when they were discussing they all were 50+ now, one of my uncles said: "i never thought i would come that close to my retirement in this old system of things".

Following the JW religion is the same as buying faulty goods and the saying " buyer beware " equally applies. Unfortunately for a lot of people it has proven to be a very expensive purchase in more ways than one it could even be said following the Governing Body could cost you your life.

So newbies beware.

so now we know, that anyone who partakes of the emblems,he/ she will now have the stigma of being labeled mentally ill bestowed on them, by whom ?

by the same people who are supposed to be caring for them, step forward the governing body.. now think about it, if this is the way they treat thier most ardent supporters, you would not want these people as your enemys, why ?, because they (and i choose my words carefully ) are psychopaths, how so ?

because if you attack the jw bottom line, $$$$$ then they react like any corp, they attack and destroy, in this case even the annointed, if they are not safe from attack who is ?.

I can't see the mental state difference between somebody who, lets say, joined the Witnesses in the early 20th century claiming to be of the annointed and those in this present time who have converted to the JW cult claiming heavenaly status because it's total fantasy in both instances.

I'm General Patton come back to life and how do I know because I have a feeling. Duh!

What do we do with TOTAL FREEDOM?

i left my cushy job at the bookstore and i'm totally free of employment responsibilities for the first time in millions of years.. i guess i'm now retired.. i can sleep as late as i want to but my body won't let me.

my eyes pop open automatically waaaaay too early.. i can go where i want.

the question now becomes: what do we do with total freedom?.

Go away touring the country in a caravan for the summer and enjoy the great outdoors.

does upper management at the wtbs actually use this term, has it appeared in the literature?

have any good stories about elders/co's/do's talking about the little people that way?.

I suppose the Generals of the Wonky Tower think in millitary terms because of Pauls writing in Eph 6:10-18 where he mentions the armour of faith but they spear themselves in the foot however as they themselves lack the belt of truth. They would think it alright to use the term rank and file now wouldn't they but what they really mean is The Great Unwashed or those who they think know less than their leaders.

To follow on the military conotations :

In verse 14 christians are urged to use a belt or gird their waist with truth and in an earthly sense a belt is used to keep something up and secured in place but as we know their ever changing light of truth means that they keep exposing themselves to ridicule by not being able to keep themselves covered up.

How about if they they just belt up.
